Proud to have been born and raised in Santa Fe, Valerie graduated from St. Michael's High School and the College of Santa Fe, with a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a minor in physical education. She worked in the private sector and as a self-employed accountant before joining the accounting staff at Phase One Realty in 1997. She has worked with compliance and reporting of traditional buying and selling of both commercial and residential properties as well as with 1031 exchange transactions. Her financial background and exposure to the real estate market at Phase One provides an edge in serving real estate clients. Valerie has been a licensed real estate broker since 2005. Valerie loves New Mexico and especially Santa Fe with its diverse cultures, deep rooted history, unique architecture, the mountains, deserts, plains and especially the people. She enjoys playing and listening to music, reading, gardening, baking, walking, playing sports, the Boston Celtics, scrabble, sewing and embroidery and studying about and showing off local art, foods the Plaza, Canyon Road, La Cienega and Santa Fe and New Mexico in general. She is married to Lawrence and they are blessed with two active and exciting teenagers. Leticia is an accomplished violinist who has played with and performed abroad with the Santa Fe Youth Symphony and is now studying music at the University of New Mexico College of Music and plays in the University Symphony Orchestra. Andres is a student at St. Michael's High School and is an avid runner on the cross-country and track teams. He is also a car and motorcycle enthusiast. Valerie volunteers with various civic and church projects, SMHS Parents Club, SMHS Alumni Association, the Santa Fe Youth Symphony, St. Elizabeths Shelter, the American Cancer Society and is a past member of the Santa Fe Historical Society.
